In 1993, John E. Klaas was still celebrating the birth of his fi rst child when his cousin, Polly Klaas, was abducted and murdered. Since this tragic event, Mr. Klaas began his pro-active involvement in child safety organizations by lending his fi nancial expertise and knowledge to organizations dedicated to helping protect America’s children.

In addition to being a Senior Vice President of Investments with UBS, Mr. Klaas is Treasurer and Director for the KlaasKids Foundation as well as the Treasurer for BeyondMissing, Inc.

Mr. Klaas graduated from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania’s Senior Financial Advisor Program. Prior to joining UBS in 2007, Mr. Klaas was a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc.. He has presented many investment workshops to Fortune 500 Companies focusing on planning and asset allocation strategies. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Klaas was a member of the Corporate Services Group, Custom Portfolio Group and Wealth Advisor Platform. These are select individuals specially trained to meet the fi nancial needs of corporations and their employees and high net worth individuals. In addition to his daily management of high net worth client accounts, he has developed or assisted in the development and administration of numerous 401(k), Stock Option exercise and Executive Compensation programs.
