
Formed in 1988 in the family garage, Sandra Madison Reinhardt CPA began operations with a financial statement compilation on behalf of a Marin County nursery school. From this modest beginning, her successful practice offers clients income tax services, accounting and financial control reviews, financial statement preparation and oversight review, as well as general business consulting services. Ms. Reinhardt currently provides this broad range of services to more than 50 nonprofit organizations, numerous for profit small businesses and more than 170 individuals. Specializing in nonprofit organizations, Ms. Reinhardt has assisted several organizations in obtaining their tax-exempt status with the appropriate taxing authorities.
In the early 1970's, Ms. Reinhardt was a single mother with two daughters under five years of age. Working part-time, Sandra went to college and in 1979, obtained a B.S. Degree in Accounting with honors from Golden Gate University. After graduation, Ms. Reinhardt entered public accounting with the Deloitte Haskins & Sells firm in San Francisco, where she supervised general audit engagements, primarily in the equipment leasing, banking and manufacturing industries. Ms. Reinhardt has been a California-licensed CPA since 1992.
Ms. Reinhardt has served on various boards and volunteered with numerous organizations. She joined the board of BeyondMissing, Inc. in December 2002 after assisting the organization obtain its tax-exempt status.
